Who we are
ImpactEd Global Consulting Solutions Pty Ltd, ABN 51 691 332 144 and ACN 691 332 144, operates as ImpactEd Global Consulting Solutions (“ImpactEd”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
This policy explains how ImpactEd handles personal information collected through this website and our communications.
Based on its current circumstances, ImpactEd’s position is that it is not presently an organisation required to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). ImpactEd nevertheless chooses to follow privacy practices informed by the Australian Privacy Principles where appropriate. This is a voluntary commitment and should not be read as a representation that ImpactEd is an APP entity.
Information we collect
Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:
- information you provide in an enquiry, including your name, organisation, position or role, work email, country, enquiry type and message;
- records of our communications with you; and
- limited technical information processed by the essential hosting and website security services, and by the secure email-delivery service when the hosted form is used.
Please do not provide sensitive, confidential or privileged information through the website unless ImpactEd has asked for it and agreed on an appropriate way to receive it.
When this website or its secure enquiry form is used, service providers may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and request information, security signals, site origin and delivery metadata. If an enquiry is submitted, Resend processes the email address, enquiry content and related delivery data needed to transmit it to ImpactEd.
How we collect and use information
We generally collect information directly from you. Personal information may be used to respond to enquiries, communicate about a potential or agreed engagement, administer agreed work, operate and protect the website, and meet applicable recordkeeping or legal obligations.
Disclosure and service providers
ImpactEd may disclose information to people working with ImpactEd and to service providers that support its website, communications and administration, and where required or authorised by law.
ImpactEd uses the Sites platform and Cloudflare-based infrastructure to host and protect the website. The secure enquiry form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for the anti-spam security check, and Resend transmits the enquiry email to ImpactEd. These services are used only for essential hosting, security and enquiry delivery.
After delivery, an enquiry is held in ImpactEd’s authorised Microsoft 365 email system. Website enquiries are not copied to a CRM, shared drive, file-storage service or separate administration system.
Cookies and analytics
This website does not use advertising technology, third-party analytics or non-essential cookies. Cloudflare Turnstile is used only as an essential security measure for the enquiry form and is configured without pre-clearance. Resend open and click tracking are disabled. Essential hosting and security technologies may process technical signals needed to operate and protect the website.
Overseas handling
The service providers used to host and secure the website and deliver enquiries operate internationally. Resend states that account data, email metadata, logs and API records are stored in the United States, regardless of the selected sending region. Cloudflare and its subprocessors may process or access technical information in the United States and other locations in which they operate. ImpactEd does not represent that website or enquiry information is stored only in Australia.
Storage, security and retention
ImpactEd intends to take steps appropriate to its operations to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
Access to website enquiries is restricted to authorised co-founders. Multi-factor authentication is enabled for the enquiry mailbox and relevant service accounts. The Co-Founder and CEO is responsible for overseeing deletion in accordance with the retention approach below.
- An enquiry that does not become an engagement will ordinarily be retained for 24 months after the last substantive communication and then securely deleted.
- If an enquiry becomes an engagement, the relevant information will form part of the engagement records and be retained in accordance with applicable contractual, accounting and legal requirements.
- Security logs will be retained only for the shortest operational period available.
- A legal obligation, dispute or anticipated claim may require information to be retained beyond the ordinary period.
- ImpactEd may delete information earlier on request where appropriate.
Access, correction and privacy concerns
To request access to or correction of personal information, or to raise a privacy concern, email info@impacted.au or write to Level 1, 63–73 Ann Street, Surry Hills, NSW 2010, Australia.
The Co-Founder and CEO is responsible for privacy enquiries and complaints. ImpactEd will acknowledge a privacy enquiry or complaint within 14 business days, investigate it fairly and proportionately, and aim to provide a substantive response within 30 calendar days.
ImpactEd may need to verify your identity before responding. If more time is needed, or if ImpactEd cannot provide requested access or correction, ImpactEd will explain the reason where appropriate.
Individuals should raise a concern directly with ImpactEd first. If a matter remains unresolved, they may obtain independent advice or exercise any external rights available to them. This policy does not represent that the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner is a statutory complaint avenue for ImpactEd.
Changes to this policy
ImpactEd may update this policy when its information-handling practices change. The current version will show its effective date.
